As founder of CourtMedia LLC, Gary Wente guides a team of lawyer-creatives who use innovative storytelling techniques and richly engaging content to elevate justice and civic issues and advocate for organizations working in the justice space. Through the CourtMedia venture, Gary melds his background in film and media production with his experience as an attorney and his decades of leadership in the federal courts, where he retired as Circuit Executive for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit (after also having served in senior roles in the Seventh and Tenth Circuits). The firm’s major projects include the Emmy- nominated documentary film “A Court at the Heart of America.”
Prior to becoming an attorney, Gary worked as an executive producer, director and writer for the documentary unit of a U.S. based international broadcast news organization.
